Jared Lang serves as a Principal of Housing Sustainability Advisors working to accelerate energy and solar upgrades in affordable housing. Jared is a specialist at infusing energy funding into the complicated financial structures of affordable housing. Prior to his current roles, Jared served as Senior Project Manager for Wesley Housing Development Corporation, serving as the lead developer on several multifamily affordable housing development projects in Washington, D.C. Jared also served as the Director of Sustainability for the National Housing Trust for 8 years, where he built a team that designed, financed, installed, and asset managed over 50 energy upgrades and 200 solar systems on affordable housing properties across the country. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, with a certificate in Real Estate Development from the Wharton School.
