Join the nation's leading experts on community solar, the Coalition for Community Solar Access (CCSA) and the National Community Solar Partnership (NCSP), for a half day crash course to learn all you need to know about community solar. This introductory course is intended to provide an overview of community solar and is geared toward anyone who is interested in participating in the community solar market. Participants will learn the basics of community solar policy and program design, how community solar benefits ratepayers and the electric grid, case studies on existing community solar programs, where the next frontier of community solar markets could be, and the challenges and opportunities to reach the Dept. of Energy's Goal of five million households by 2025 and CCSA’s vision of 30 GW by 2030. Our workshop will be taught by leading community solar experts including CCSA and NCSP staff as well as leading community solar companies and non-profits. Participants will also get invited to a community solar networking event after the workshop and following the RE+ Opening Session.
