Proposal information to include, objective, methods, results, and conclusion: Objective is to enlighten participants on the cable systems in their solar or wind farms. The loads on these cables is typically much higher than a utility cables leading to shortened life of these cables. A thorough review and exemplary case study will assist the audience in recognizing problems and offers means to address issues prior to cable failures in the field. Examples of cable remediation will be shared and the results of this work can be applied to all field cables in the renewable sphere.
