Wayne Chatterton
Dr. Chatterton has a PhD in organic Chemistry from the University of Toronto (1990). He has spent is entire career in the electrical industry. He has worked for Dow Chemical in the development of cable rejuvenation fluids. He has worked for UtilX/Novinium since 2006 when he left Dow. He is a Senior member of the IEEE and a member of ASTM committees D9 and D27. He has worked on transformer fluids, circuit breaker lubricants, insulative rubbers, diffusion pump fluids and has numerous patents on cable rejuvenation fluids and processes. In 2022, Southwire acquired Novinium, Wayne is now the Director of Strategy for Southwire services.
James Steele
James Steele is the Director of Engineering at Novinium, a Southwire Company. James has over 20 years of experience within the electric utility industry that centers around extending the life of medium & high voltage underground power cable systems. James is the inventor of 17 US patents covering cable injection technologies and the design of IoT enabled devices for transmission & distribution cable systems. James is a Senior Member of the IEEE and serves on the working groups for IEEE F07W guide for neutral corrosion detection and mitigation and IEEE B12W guide to cable failure analysis.
