With 8 years’ experience running an NGO focused on solar based solutions impacting students, 20 years in the film industry, studies in both the arts and an MBA in Sustainable Business, Nicole is skilled at finding creative and innovative solutions to engage individuals, positively impact communities, and tell compelling stories of sustainability solutuions.
Originally from British Columbia Canada, and now based part-time in California, Nicole has lived and worked around the world. Her international experience has given her an innate way to connect with people, as well as observe global changes.
Nicole speaks French as a second language, some Spanish, and has an intrinsic passion for conservation and nature-based solutions. She is a member of the New York based 'Explorers Club', and enjoys exploration off the beaten path and is passionate about health and wellbeing, loves plant-based cuisine, and gets energized by sustainable innovations shaping societies of tomorrow for the betterment of all life on earth.
She is currently working to expand the solar light program in schools under the banner "Watts On Lighting Students Lives" as well as launch a start-up focused on solar powered hubbs for off-grid and limited access regions. These solutions will positively change hundreds of thousands of people’s lives by giving them access to resources via electrified commercial centers.
