LaTanya Schwalb is the Principal Engineer for Stationary Batteries, Energy Storage Systems, Fuel Cell Systems, and Hydrogen Generators at UL Solutions. She has over two decades of experience in product safety certification. She is responsible for the development of technical requirements and interpretation of UL standard requirements for these product categories. She represents UL Solutions on technical committees for UL 1973, UL 9540, and UL 9540A as well as other industry standards and battery committees for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), CSA Group, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
