Gary joined NH Electric Cooperative as a Renewable Energy Engineer in 2012 to work on PV, EV and eventually battery storage. Initially Gary constructed two small solar arrays at NHEC District Offices and managed a pilot project to install electric vehicle charging stations at hospitality member locations. Gary has since managed a project that constructed a 2.561 MW DC/ 2.0 MW AC utility solar array for NHEC and a 2.44 MW two-hour utility battery. In 2022 Gary was promoted to the Director of Facilities/Renewable Energy Engineer and continues to work on PV, EV, Battery Storage as well as managing NHEC facilities and helping build out a fiber optic network on our distribution system. Prior to working at NHEC Gary worked 36 years at an investor-owned utility in various engineering and management positions. Gary is past Chairman of the NRECA Renewable Energy and Distributed Generation Management Advisory Group representing the interests of approximately 900 electric cooperatives across the US. Gary is a registered PE, NABCEP Certified with a BS in Engineering from the University of NH and an MBA from Southern NH University and serves on several non-profits Boards in NH.
