Benjamin Lowe is a Principal at management consultancy Roland Berger LP, where he advises clients on the energy transition. He has worked in the electric power sector for more than 20 years over a number of roles, including a director of policy and market development at Alevo USA, strategic planning manager at Duke Energy and an electric industry reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer. At Roland Berger Ben advises utilities, OEMs, developers and investors on the implications of the energy transition, focusing on current and emerging storage technologies. Among his other work, Ben has been the principal investigator for Lazard's Levelized Cost of Storage (now part of LCOE+) over the past seven years. Ben earned his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Economics-Political Science from Columbia University. He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his, wife, Jodie, and two sons.
