Courtney is part of Power Delivery Services, Inc. (PDS), a company that has served utilities in Nebraska and the Midwest for nearly 30 years with electrical system infrastructure and utility services.
Prior to PDS, Courtney spent ten years working for a public power utility, with her most recent role managing Alternative Energy from 2018-2023. In this role, she was responsible for managing a growing renewable portfolio of over 1GW, developing strategy for siting and sourcing an incremental 600 MW of solar, negotiating the first utility-scale solar project in Nebraska, and developing first of a kind pilot projects for Nebraska, including standalone battery and landfill solar. Additionally, Courtney engaged with county planning boards and supervisory boards, consulting on proposed planning and zoning regulations and providing testimony.
Prior to alternative energy, Courtney spent over five years in Operations Analysis working on process improvement, change management, and business strategy in the areas of operational excellence, electric vehicles, municipal and wholesale customer services, and grid transformation.
Courtney holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, an MBA from Creighton University, and is a licensed PE.
