Pari Kasotia is an energy policy and regulatory expert with 15+ years of experience in the clean energy space. She currently serves as the Sr. Director and Head of State and Federal Policy at Luminace. Prior to her current role, Pari served as the Head of Policy for DSD Renewables where she led all the state and federal policy undertakings. Before that, she consulted with the Coalition for Green Capital (CGC) on the NJ Council on the Green Economy, and advocated for solar friendly policies as the Mid-Atlantic Director for Vote Solar which included successful policies such as passage of community solar program in NJ and RPS expansion in MD. Prior to Vote Solar, Pari served as the Deputy Director of The Solar Foundation and also led the Iowa State Energy Office. Pari also sits on the Board of Chesapeake Solar and Storage Association as its Vice-President.
Pari is recognized as Renewable Energy World’s Solar 40 under 40 Professionals and Midwest Energy News 40 under 40 Emerging Clean Energy Leaders. Pari holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and also a Master of Business Administration as well as Master of Public Affairs. She has a BA in Environmental Policy and Politics.
