Theodora Okiro is an award-winning policy expert, clean energy professional, and sustainability lifestyle advocate. She has been noted as one of the foremost authorities on clean energy policy and clean energy access in her generation. Her policy writing has been downloaded globally and lauded by publications such as Reuters to cited by academic institutions like Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania. She works to develop innovative clean energy policy and climate resiliency solutions while ensuring that marginalized communities equitably benefit. Her work is particularly focused on ensuring that marginalized communities are able to access clean energy resources and that their leadership is equitably incorporated into its transition. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in History from the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned a Masters in Public Administration from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania.
