Join the SolarCoaster to reflect on Maui’s recent wildfire tragedy, including any early lessons learned. Our guests will also discuss the grid on Maui, the history of DER in Hawaii, the regulatory framework, and potential changes in the future.
We plan to highlight the upcoming RE + Hawaii event in January 24 where we can discuss in far more detail the challenges and opportunities in the country’s first 100% renewable energy mandate and how Lahaina's rebuild could incorporate a more DER friendly grid.
