Poster Spotlight: Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Integration in the Multifamily Vertical

Description and Background: This session will cover "EV Charging 101" and describe the various types and levels of charging and how they can be integrated into solar and energy storage projects. It will focus primarily on the multifamily vertical and the specific challenges and opportunities that exist due to lack of available power, submetering of pricing, varied parking arrangements, and interactions with HOAs. We will also discuss the varied rebate, tax credit, and incentive structures around the country and how best to leverage these assets in pursuing multifamily residential EV projects. As the growth of the EV market continues to accelerate, more and more attention will need to be focused on the multifamily vertical to ensure equity of residential charging infrastructure.
