The Use of Digital Twin Modelling in the Design and Operation of Microgrids

The Sun Company Americas Inc, is a Tucson based women owned small business that addresses the triad of energy generation, digital twin operation/planning and energy storage. Our microgrid business includes very large Independent Renewable Power Plants (IREPP) as well as more traditional microgrid planning, installation, and operation. We will focus of this presentation will be on the overwhelming role that microgrids with energy storage will play in particular for EV charging (Level 3, Fast EV Charging) and the role of the digital twin in particular.
