UL Outline of Investigation 2941: A New Standard Covering DER Cybersecurity

In response to industry concerns about the security and resilience of the vast number of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) being deployed, and interacting with existing equipment and with each other, UL 2941 was written to provide a path to cybersecurity certification of DER devices and systems. This will help manufacturers, installers, utilities, and regulatory agencies build a more secure electrical infrastructure.
