To achieve carbon neutrality in the world’s electricity grids, we must start the transition from relying on fossil fuels to enabling 100% renewables penetration. Long-duration energy storage will play a key role in making surplus energy from wind and solar assets available on-demand to help meet global electricity needs while reducing CO2 emissions. This block of presentations will cover some key storage technologies being used to solve clean energy goals. This session will explore three (3) new areas of technology development within long duration energy storage.
