IIJA and IRA have provided strong incentives for the production of low carbon hydrogen on the Hydrogen Hubs and Hydrogen PTC provisions. With the Hubs’ selection currently underway and IRS guidance expected in 3Q23, how will the final implementation of these mechanisms shape the market? Will they be enough to foster a long-lasting H2 economy or are there still key policies missing?
