Solar Storage System Testing

Proposal information to include, objective, methods, results, and conclusion: DNV has developed a comprehensive test approach to test and validate residential, microgrid and C&I Solar + Storage Systems. This approach has been successfully used by a number of companies to verify manufacturers specifications, system function and reliability under all operating conditions. The test approach evaluated three components: 1. Battery Cell Degradation Performance and Warranty using DNV's Scorecard Qualification Matrix, 2. System Function and Performance Testing, evaluating the system under extreme climate conditions, round trip efficiencies, grid interface, failure behavior and vocational performance tests, and 3. a Technology Review that combines the testing results with the suppliers competence regarding engineering design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and financial health.
