Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology has the potential to transform electric vehicles (EVs) into valuable assets for the grid. This bidirectional energy flow has benefits reaching far beyond balancing fluctuations in electricity supply and demand, including enabling demand response programs which reduce strain on the grid and offering the opportunity for EV owners to monetize their vehicles' energy storage capacity, potentially offsetting the cost of vehicle ownership and promoting the integration of more renewable energy sources. This section provides an overview of V2G technologies contributing to a sustainable energy future.
