Proposal information to include, objective, methods, results, and conclusion: OSHPD can be one of the toughest authority having jurisdictions (AHJ) in the state of California, next to LADBS. The intent of this segment is to provide use cases and project experiences in the solar plus storage space that have gotten OSHPD approval. The presentation will provide a high-level overview of the process from submitting the project application to obtaining a construction permit and next steps. Presenting a fair amount of technical information, we will get into the OSHPD requirements for the structural, electrical, and architectural components of your project. This workshop will also point out the main difference between an OSHPD submittal and a typical submittal for the City of Manteca AHJ. The purpose of this presentation is to arm EPC companies and installers with the tools to receive approval from OSHPD for solar plus storage projects and aid the proliferation of these projects across California.
