Solar Development on Reclaimed and Abandoned Mine Lands A discussion on development challenges and considerations along with engineering and environmental implications

Description and Background: The concept of the session is to present and discuss the current policy environment involving the development of solar on reclaimed and abandoned coal mines along with both the environmental and engineering considerations to support viable solar developments. This topic is relevant to an emerging type of solar development that's being incentivized at both the federal and state level. We're submitting the proposal with the intention (as an engineering / environmental consultant) of conducting a joint presentation with R3 Renewables and its development manager Treaty Oak.
