Thad graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.A. in History in 1999 and earned his J.D. from Tulane Law School, with a certificate in Environmental Law, in 2010. Thad has a law license in North Carolina, South Carolina, and California (inactive) and is a Board Certified Specialist in Utilities Law in North Carolina. Thad lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
