Saleem Van Groenou is a father and husband, and has focused his career on helping organizations take action to incorporate sustainability and mitigate carbon emissions. As a product manager on Google’s Geo Sustainability team, he works closely with a team of engineers, outreach, and market experts to create insights and products that can inform and accelerate climate action. In 2018, he co-founded Google’s Environmental Insights Explorer to help cities with inventories and action plans. He is currently leading Google Maps Platform’s Solar work to help deploy more rooftop solar in the world.
