Mishal Thadani is the CEO and Co-Founder of Rhizome, the world’s only climate resilience planning platform for utilities. Mish was formerly the Vice President of Strategy and Policy at Urbint where he led go-to-market and regulatory strategies and became recognized as an industry leader in infrastructure resilience.
Prior to Urbint, Mish had an extensive background in clean energy and market development with BP Wind Energy, Pattern Energy, Direct Energy, including founding a commercial and community solar development company, District Solar. For 10 years, Mish has helped cleantech companies navigate through complex regulatory and policy frameworks to advance technology adoption for a more sustainable and resilient future.
Mish is a recipient of Public Utilities Fortnightly 40 Under 40 and a Clean Energy Leadership Institute Fellow. He holds a BS in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a Minor in Energy and Water Sustainability from Rice University.
