Mary joined the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) in June 2022. As the Manager of Event Content Strategy and Programming, she collaborates with utilities, corporations, and industry partners to develop and deliver high-quality education and engagement for the industry. An Austin Energy alum, she has over 5 years of experience working at a municipal utility where she focused on strategic planning, process optimization, emerging technology implementation, and community engagement to grow the City of Austin's renewable energy programs. Mary loves to travel and get lost in the outdoors, especially on a long hike or on a boat in the ocean. Her proudest achievement is working with local communities and volunteers from all over the world to install rainwater harvesting systems; a total capacity of 82,900 liters of potable, accessible water to residents of Fiji.
