Dan Wilson is the Vice President of Energy Solutions at Inspiration Mobility (“Inspiration”), the first Electrification Accelerator TM offering turnkey solutions to decarbonize commercial transportation at scale. Inspiration was founded in 2021 with one goal in mind: dramatically accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles by quickly and easily delivering the outcomes that matter to businesses: lower costs, higher reliability, improved safety and driver satisfaction, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. To achieve these outcomes, Inspiration invests in, finances, builds, and operates whatever assets and solutions organizations and their employees need along every mile of their electrification journeys.
As Vice President of Energy Solutions at Inspiration Mobility, Dan oversees the development of seamless, scalable, and financially flexible charging and energy products to accelerate fleet electrification nationwide. He previously co-led deployment of one of the largest U.S. commercial EV charging programs for FedEx with Chanje Energy.
Prior to Chanje Energy, Dan was a Managing Consultant at Black & Veatch, where he worked with leading electric utilities and other clients globally to better integrate renewable and distributed energy resources into the grid. This work included software implementation, integrated resource planning, EV infrastructure planning, valuing distributed solar, utility solar program design, and smart city feasibility assessments.
A frequent speaker on e-mobility and renewables, he is passionate about driving the transition to electric and sustainable mobility. Dan’s technical expertise and industry vision help Inspiration develop and build impactful solutions tailored to customer needs.
Dan holds BAs in Comparative Literature and Spanish from Washington University of St. Louis and a MS in Sustainable Systems and Master of Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan.
