Bhaskar Ray is the Vice President of Interconnection and Development Engineering at Hanwha QCELLS USA Development team. Bhaskar has thirty two years of experience in electric power industry. He has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University. Bhaskar is a transmisison and interconnection subject matter expert in the renewable industry and has been involved in trasnmisison planning and enginerring of sveral large scal transmisison and substation projects during his tenure at XCel Energy, PG&E and Southern Californa Edison. During the last 12 years Bhaskar has been heavily involved in the renewable development business during his tenure at Solar Millenium, SunEdison, BayWa and Hanwha QCells. He currently manages all transmisison planning, interconnection studies and development engineering activities at QCells.
Bhaskar is a Senior Member of Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and has numerous technical publications including IEEE and EPRI.
He is pursuing a career in the renewable industry to support clean energy development and support climate change prevention initiatives. Hanwha QCells is an excellent platform for Bhaskar to pursue his career goals as a Subject Matter Expert in solar and energy storage interconnection for successful development of renewable portfolio of assets in North America.
