Meet the Ginsberg-Klemmts:
Antonia, President. Antonia is a proven leader and president for Gismo Power LLC and responsible for inventing the initial concept for the GismoPower MEGA. The US Patent Office issued the patent for the “Portable Solar Carport.”
Her involvement will continue through her graduate studies at UCBerkeley for her Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Since winning the American Made Solar Prize Ready! and Set! challenge, Antonia was accepted into VentureWell’s E-Team Program. Honors and Awards - Ozy Genius Award 2021, Tampa Bay’s 25 under 25 in 2021, Community Engagement Award from New College 2021, Sigma Pi Sigma Scholarship for outstanding scholarship in physics 2021, Tourette's Association of America Rising Leader Advocate 2022.
Erika serves as GismoPower’s COO. She holds two BA degrees from UC Berkeley and is a graduate of the St. John’s College Graduate Institute. She is an accomplished author and entrepreneur and she established SRQUS LLC, a successful property acquisition, development and management company in Southwest Florida. She was responsible for writing the Phase II DOE SBIR grant GismoPower was just awarded.
Achim, VP of Engineering, leads electrical and mechanical engineering tasks as well as prototype construction and pilot site installations for GismoPower LLC. He holds Electrical Engineering degrees for Energy Systems and Robotics from ISFATES in Metz/France and for Telecommunication in Luebeck/Germany. He has engineered complex electro-mechanical software and hardware technologies during his entire career.
Achim founded the Net-Plus Solar Power Group in Southwest Florida, took the denial of a Petition before the Florida Public Service Commission to Improve Regulatory conditions for distributed solar systems all the way to the Florida Supreme Court. Together with other renewable energy interest groups Achim has successfully intervened before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission FERC to promote distributed solar in Florida and support net metering nationwide.
