Sandbox Solar
Passionate about the natural world and renewable energy integration, Thomas has worked in the solar industry for 7+ years while studying Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at CSU. He has a B.S. in Landscape Architecture and a M.S. in Agricultural Sciences. Since 2018 his research has focused on food and energy production through agrivoltaics, a land use model that lies at the heart of the food, energy and water nexus. Thomas is currently working at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) as a graduate intern in the Strategic Energy Analysis Center’s Impact Analysis group.
