Background, Description, Delivery and Learning Objective Accredited industry standards are effective mechanisms that can ensure solar systems have been ethically, sustainably, and responsibly sourced, manufactured, transported, installed, operated, and recycled. SEIA is developing American National Standards that proactively tackle solar and energy storage issues and build confidence among customers, regulators, investors, rating agencies, and other stakeholders. As an American National Standards Institute - Accredited Standards Developer, SEIA is bringing together industry experts and other stakeholders to improve the functionality of solar, energy storage, and other renewable energy generation and transmission.
