Smoothing Out the Wrinkles in C&I Development

Description and Background: C&I projects can be difficult to pencil. They boast similar complexities to that of utility-scale, yet can't absorb the costs to the same extent. More corporations are looking to determine ways to reduce the cost of energy by solar installations (rooftop, ground mount, and carport), and meet aspects of their corporate ESG goals, overall increasing demand for these distributed energy projects. As the solar industry scales to meet that demand, C&I players will have to implement critical processes and practices around these complex project attributes to avoid detrimental growing pains. This session will include panelists working in all aspects of the C&I sector to provide a holistic and lively conversation with the audience on how C&I players can tackle some of their most critical complexities and smooth out wrinkles in process, due diligence, design, and construction - especially when working with financial partners.
