When a project is commissioned, it’s the beginning of the project’s clean energy generation story. So, what comes next? During this session, speakers will pull back the curtain on the "happily ever after" of renewable energy projects, covering the impacts of prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements within the IRA on asset management, repair, and repowering of renewable energy projects. Panelists will also cover trends in repowering and recycling used equipment on operating projects, and the opportunities and risks therein. Both technical and legal implications of contract and financing structures will be teased out as panelists discuss when "happily ever after" is more complicated than it seems.
